At 1 Elks Drive, you'll find one of the oldest and most storied fraternal organizations in central Illinois. Peoria Lodge #20 has been a gathering place for working men and women who believe that looking out for your neighbor is not a slogan but a practice. The bar is well-stocked, the prices are genuinely hard to beat, and the regulars will greet you like you've been coming in for years.

The facility itself is built for real gatherings. Families have hosted retirement parties, reunions, and celebrations here, and the staff consistently earns praise for accommodating groups with care and flexibility. Reviews highlight the raffle drawings, the friendly atmosphere, and a crowd that knows how to have a good time without taking itself too seriously.

Membership opens the door to a private club where the noise of the outside world stays outside. Guests are always welcome when accompanied by a member, so if you've been curious about what's behind that door on Elks Drive, ask a member to bring you in.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers a full bar program with pricing that consistently surprises first-time visitors. Whether you're unwinding after a shift or toasting a milestone, the bar area is comfortable, social, and staffed by people who actually know your name after a visit or two.

The banquet and event hall accommodates private gatherings of all sizes, from intimate retirement parties to larger family celebrations. The Meismer family's event is one of many that have called the facility a great fit, and the staff works to make sure every booking feels personal rather than transactional.

Regular Lodge events include raffle drawings, member meetings, and community fundraisers tied to the national Elks mission of serving veterans and local youth. Members gain access to the full calendar of events, discounted rates, and the kind of ongoing community that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere in Peoria.

"A gem in the rough. The neighborhood is a little rough. You must be a member or a guest of a member. Great friendly people. You can't beat the prices on drinks and food. Great raffle drawings. The crowd/membership is a bit on the older side but very fun. A very safe, friendly, fun inexpensive night out."

"Private club. Members and their guests only. Nice bar area. Appeared to be mostly an older crowd (50+) when I was there for a friend's retirement party. Did not see any food served. They have various food nights, ie fried chicken dinners, spaghetti dinners, etc.. Smoking outside only on covered deck area."

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
